Wickersley is well served by a variety of clubs and societies that provide leisure and cultural activities.

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is an organisation that specialise in the older age group. They organise many group activities, talks, trips, etc. covering a wide range of subjects. For more information see the community Centre leaflet when the group meets.

There are a number of specialised clubs Cricket, Bowls, Walking groups, Gardening Clubs, Flower, Dance and Dramatics, exercise classes and Women's Institute to name a few suggestions that may appeal to you.

The younger residents are also catered for with the usual Scouts and Guides as well as Football and other sports. Drama and dancing groups hold sessions in the Community Centre. Tots have loads of opportunity to express themselves with events catered for at the library.
