Wickersley Community Centre
Wickersley Community Centre is located on Bawtry Road and is a welcoming building with the community centre on the ground floor and the Wickersley Library on the first floor.

Large grant awarded to Winthrop Gardens
Amazing news was received in December 2023 when the Parish Council heard they had been awarded a grant slightly in excess of £250,000 to redevelop the cafe and associated buildings at the very popular l Winthrop Gardens.
The current cafe is a portacabin, considerably past its use by date and this will be the focus of the new develoment.

What's on at the Community Centre
There's always something going on at the centre, classes and groups meet on a regular basis. New members are always welcome.
We currently have the following classes and groups meeting.
Yoga, Pilates, Wickersley Youth theatre, Wickersley Ladies Group, Several language classes, Zumba, Weight management, Karate, Baby movers, Silver swans ballet and card games. The list though changes regularly.

Parish Council meetings
The Parish Council hold a monthly meeting to discuss matters concerning the parish. Parishioners are welcome to attend and speak if they wish to raise a matter of concern or to observe the meeting.
The meetings are held at the Community Centre (the July meeting is at Winthrop Gardens) and commence at 18.30. If the meeting is in the library there is lift access.
